- Refurbishes donated computers for low-income individuals & families.
Energy Assistance - Contact Tanya or Martin
- Helps with primary home heating expenses and Senior/Disabled discount.
Food Banks - Contact Community Action at 662-6156
- Distribution of goverment surplus food, which will vary from month to month.
Housing - Contact Linda P or Maria
Provides affordable housing and transitional housing with case management.
TBRA program offers tenant based rental assistance.
Intermountain AmeriCorps - Contact Julie, Toby or Anwen
Places individuals to tutor and/or mentor students K-12 grades.
Legal Aid - Contact Jeanne
Provides information, referral and assists with paperwork for a divorce, child support and/or modifications, landlord-tenant relations, wills and power of attorney, etc.
Rental Assistance(Deposit Assistance) - Contact Tanya or Martin
Provides emergency rental assistance with priority given to families with children, seniors and handicapped. Must have eviction notice.
Telephone Assistance - Contact Linda L.
Our Community Voice Mail provides a safe & secure telephone answering system for anyone without a phone. Our WTAP program provides discounted telephone service.
USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program - Contact Heidi, Teri, Tami or Tracy.
Reimburses a portion of the cost of meals served in licensed child care homes.
Weatherization(Home Repair) - Contact Susan
Includes insulating attics, walls, weather stripping doors, and replacing broken windows.
Wenatchee Valley Literacy Council - Contact Lousie
Provides free one-on-one or small group tutoring to adults who need help with basic literacy and English as a Second Language
