About Us

For the past 43 years, the Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council has been helping people and changing lives. We are a private non-profit organization providing assistance with home heating, energy conservation, housing, technology, phone assistance, adult literacy and food distribution.

C-D Community Action Council is governed by a 15 member volunteer Board of Directors. The Boards tripartite structure provides equal representation for the public and private sectors and the low-income community we serve.
